  • Correct communication established with the lifting equipment operator- Hand signals and two way radios
  • Inspection and selection of the correct lifting accessories as per the appointed persons lift plan
  • Stability of loads and stress factors in lifting accessories
  • Estimation of load weights
  • Safe use of lifting equipment and general slinging configurations
  • Safe slinging and movement of loads
  • End of shift safe shut down procedure and storage of accessories
